Kaytlyn DiBitetetto

Eleventh grader and co-historian Kaytlyn DiBitetetto is one of the few members of FBLA that joined in her Freshman year. Kaytlyn met up with some of our members her Freshman year at Open House with her mother. Apparently, the two people working the booth that night were persuasive, because the next day Kaytlyn got herself an application, and soon enough she was a member. She joined because she thought it would be fun, but more importantly because of the opportunities that we offered.

Kaytlyn is not only an FBLA officer, she is also an active member of Bible club, Art club, NHS, Ski Club, the Varsity Track Team, and the Historian of the National Art League. Kaytlyn has done a lot to further her knowledge of business. She has taken Keyboarding, Computer Literacy, Accounting I, and Business Communications. She is doing all she can to learn about the business world, and she is hoping that her experience will help her in the future. Currently working with Katie Shablesky and Christina Gorri, she organizes all of the pictures and old papers. These three are doing an amazing job keeping our history organized and our pictures out for all the public to see.

Kaytlyn has been a big help to our chapter in these last three years, and hopefully we've been helping her out too. She enjoyed setting up for the Semi-Formal, and we're glad she could be in charge of our Semi-Formal Court Committee last year. So far, Kaytlyn says that she has learned "about management and about responsibilities that come with being a leader." In the future, Kaytlyn hopes to hold a higher office position, maybe even take Joshua's job? Kaytlyn hopes that being in our chapter will help her get into a good college and get her a good job, because she has developed the skills to work that job with the help of our chapter. We're glad to have a member like Kaytlyn, and we know that she'll make something of herself when the time comes.
