Jordan Blythe

Our current Reporter, Jordan Blythe is a senior this year at BFHS and has been an active member of FBLA for 2 years now. She loves the club and all of the things that she gets to do as a member, and decided to become an officer because she wanted to help out even more. Jordan is another member that was persuaded to join in the 2006-2007 school year by Joshua Laughlin. After he told her all the fun things she would be able to do as a member, she promptly signed up and got working.

Jordan has been trying hard to learn about the business world. She had of course taken Computer Literacy and Keyboarding in her freshman year, but she did not see the need to take another business course until her junior year, which is when she got involved with FBLA. She understood the how necessary it was to learn about business, and so she took Business Communications. She is also currently taking Accounting I.

Aside from FBLA, Jordan does a lot. She is a varsity cheerleader captain, a member of varsity club, and a member of the usher’s club. She is also a good student and active in everything she does. She never does anything half-way. She actually said that she “Love[s] being [a] part of extra-curricular activities [at] BFHS.” She is currently working as our sole Reporter to make our monthly newsletters and to help with this site.

Jordan has learned a lot in her short time as a member of FBLA. She has learned how “to be a good leader,” and what it means to work in groups. She has learned a lot about the way a business is run and how the chain of command works. She really loved going to Cedar Point this past year, and can’t wait to go again, even though it will be her last time. Jordan hopes that her experiences in our club will help her get into a good school, and maybe even take her into a good career. Thank you so much for all of your hard work Jordan. This club will miss you once you are gone.
