Christina Gorri

Senior Christina Gorri is currently one of our three historians. Working with Kaytlyn DiBitetetto and Katie Shablesky, Chirstina has done a lot to keep our club organized. Not only does Christina help with our bulletin board and our club calendar, she also helps with the club scrapbook. The three historians have been doing a great job this year, and Christina has been a big help herself. Christina joined FBLA in her sophomore year, because in her freshman year she saw a lot of people dressed up and asked about it. The answer she got was “We’re in FBLA,” and that made her curious. She asked a few fellow classmates about the club and decided to join.

Christina has taken a lot of classes to learn about the world of business. She has taken Keyboarding, Computer Literacy, Accounting I, Entrepreneurship, and Business Communications. It is quite obvious that she really does enjoy learning about business and that she plans to take this education on to a good career.

Christina, unlike many other members of our club, is not a member of any other club in Beaver Falls High School. It seems that the only club that she wants to spend her valuable time on is ours, which is fantastic! What an avid supporter of our club. In fact, when asked if she was in any other clubs, Christina very animatedly said “NO!” Well, we are glad to have a member like Christina.

Nothing was more fun to Christina than decorating for last year’s semiformal, but she said that the Cedar Point trip was a close second. Christina has learned a lot from FBLA, including how to “work well with [other] people.” In the future, Christina hopes that her membership in our club will “take [her] to college, [and] work.” She has high hopes for the future, and why not? Through our club, Christina has been able to unlock her potential and learn how to put leadership into action. Of course the future will be bright for her. Thank you for all of your hard work Christina. We only hope that we’ve returned the favor.
